God vs. Problems

2 Corinthians 1:3 (NIV)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

God is Great and greatly to be praised! Just that statement right there is enough to carry me through my day! When I think of the goodness of God the atmosphere starts to shift. Thinking of His goodness my focus starts to align with Him. When my focus is Him I start to experience that perfect peace He talks about in His Word! (Isaiah 26:3)

The perfect peace of God leads to joy and whatever issues you may be going through right now gets minimized. As you start to magnify your Lord and Savior your issues become smaller. You start to see that God is bigger than your issue(s)! Hallelujah. Yes, the issue is still there but so is God. As you continue to praise Him and trust Him He starts to open your eyes to a solution or give you comfort and peace in the middle of it.

Usually, the solution has something to do with you. He will change your perspective renew your mind. He strengthens us when we are weak (2 Corinthians 12:9). You have to surrender to the Lord and let Him fight your battles!

I encourage you to soak up God’s Word. Put it in your heart. Once you do that and as you grow more in God, you will be like the writer (James 1:2-4) and count tribulations as joy because you know who God is!

If you have not accepted Christ as your personal Savior, I invite you to give Him a try. You won’t be sorry! Start living your Best Life! Accept Christ

Be encouraged! Keep believing! Keep trusting!

Put That Down!

Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Do you know there are so many phobia’s that I can’t count them all? Seems like they are endless. There is a fear of almost everything. People are suffering from fear and God said He didn’t give us that spirit. God gave us the spirit of power, love, and self-discipline.

If God didn’t give it to us why are we walking around with it? Jesus came that we may be free. We don’t have to live in fear. The only fear we should be living with is the fear of the Lord!

I challenge you to dig deeper into yourself. Look at yourself and analyze what it is that’s holding you back from being forgiving, having patience, loving one another, trusting in the Lord with your whole heart. If you dig real deep at the root you will probably find is fear. Somewhere along your life’s journey, you picked it up and you have not put it down.

The Lord reminds us reassures us many times in the Bible to not be afraid and to trust in Him to believe in Him. He gives peace and helps us release what is not like Him. Do you trust the Lord with all your heart? When I checked myself the answer for me was no. I was still operating in fear in some areas of my life. I was surprised at myself I thought I was doing good! The Lord has a way of revealing things to us if we are willing to look. I ask you to do some soul searching and check your belief level. If your level is not where it should be or where you thought it was that is a very good prayer request. The Lord will hear your prayer!

What I have done is committed to myself and the Lord that I will conquer my fears with His help. Let me tell you this is not a cakewalk nor is it for the faint of heart. I am serious about my relationship with the Lord and I encourage you to get even more serious about your relationship with the Lord.

Jesus came to set you free from the fear of ______ (you fill in the blank). You should not be held back because of _______. Take advantage of this wonderful gift God has given us. The gift of Salvation. Don’t live in fear. You are wonderfully made! He took the time to design you exactly the way you are! Beautifully! God doesn’t do a half job. He made you beautiful on the inside and the outside. The fear you have picked up along the way has nothing to do with Him BUT He said just trust Him to seek Him and all that is suppose to be added will be added! Remember He will never leave you!

Be encouraged. Keep believing. Keep trusting.

If you have not accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the perfect time to start living your life free! Accept Christ

Live Free!

Psalm 145:18 (NIV)

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

This is a good verse to remember at all times. It says that the Lord is near to all who call on Him and call on Him in truth.

What this says to me the Lord is near and He will not leave me. In good or bad times I can call on Him and He will hear me and He will not forsake me. This does not mean that He will get me out of a situation all the time but if that is the case He will be in the situation with me and give me peace.

My message to you, don’t do any unnecessary suffering. Jesus died that we may be free. You don’t have to be stressed over things going on in this world (there are a lot of things going on) all you have to do is call on the Lord in truth He will hear you and be there for you! Whether it is a situation you’re dealing with or a person you’re dealing with or even yourself, whatever or whoever God got you!

To call on the Lord in truth you have to believe in Him. You can’t just talk into the air and hope someone is listening. You have to call with expectation. You have to call like you are calling someone in the natural world. This is real. God is real. Know who you’re talking to. That is your faith.

God loves you, love Him back. Remember He is near call to Him! Be encouraged, keep believing keep trusting.

If you have not already, accept Christ as your savior He’s waiting for you. Start living life with more abundant love, peace, and joy!
